Aging Care Resources, Inc., is an affiliate of Care Perspectives Inc., a healthcare consulting firm, providing services directly to long term care facilities, home health agencies, and residents and families for over twenty years. Care Perspectives staff ascribe to the mission of simply “making a positive difference in the lives of residents, clients, families, and staff.” This goal is accomplished through a participatory management style rooted in intensive education, unit-based training, education moments, and continuous quality improvement.
Over the years Care Perspectives Inc. has provided interdisciplinary consulting and management services in many nursing homes and assisted living facilities, adult medical day care centers, and also to Home Health Agencies and Centers for the Developmentally Disabled. In addition, we have conducted numerous seminars and education programs locally and nationally. Our success is the direct result of an interdisciplinary team approach.
Aging Care Resources was developed by the Care Perspectives team of experts to meet the needs of caregivers and the individual’s they care for. Based on 20 years of experience caring for aging adults, our team truly understands the time demands and limitations for those who provide care to aging and disabled adults. As a result we have developed a one stop care giving resource center with the intent to improve the quality of the care giving process for both the caregiver and recipient.
Aging Care Resources Philosophy
Aging Care Resources ascribes to the belief that informed caregivers can provide the highest quality of care to our elders. We believe each individual has their own unique knowledge, perceptions and needs that should be met in accordance with their health care beliefs regardless of their current physical and cognitive abilities.
Recognizing this, our company works to assist care givers to identify distinct traits of each person to assure the provision of the highest quality of care and enhancement of quality of life. Preserving dignity and motivating individuals to seek new experiences, achieve new goals and maintain a purpose in life, regardless of functional or cognitive ability, are the primary tasks confronting caregivers.
Additionally, we realize the importance of the care giver’s own personal needs. We believe caregivers can provide quality care when their own physical, psychological and emotional needs are met.
